A clever twist on the cirque genre, Cirque Mechanics' "Birdhouse Factory" combines traditional circus elements - acrobatics, juggling, trampoline antics, contortionists, dancing and clowning - with a story steeped in mechanical ingenuity. This cirque-meets-industry romp fills The Eccles Center on Saturday, March 2. The spectacle begins at 7:30 p.m.

Lorna Kelly, the auctioneer for New York's Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS annual auction and formerly of Sotheby's New York, will preside over the live auction.

Alice will read from 'Alice in Wonderland' at 10:30 a.m. in Hayden; 1 p.m. in Coeur d'Alene and 4 p.m. in Liberty Lake. Alice will also be available for pictures.

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company today announced that Tom Riis Farrell will join the cast of their production of the newly revised version of A.R. Gurney's 1991 play, The Old Boy, replacing Hal Robinson. Performances of this Off-Broadway Limited Engagement begin February 12th and continue through March 24th only. Mr. Robinson withdrew for personal reasons.

Initiated in 1983, the Missouri Arts Awards honor individuals and organizations that have made profound and lasting contributions to the cultural and artistic climate of the state. Each year, Missouri Arts Award nominees are reviewed by a committee of Missouri citizens from throughout the state who are knowledgeable, experienced, and highly respected in the arts.
