The Reality of FASHION The Reality of AIDS (http://www.realityontherunway.com) is a New York Fashion Week fundraiser slotted to take place on February 9, 2013 in New York City. The open to the public event is slated to have names such as Deena Cortese of Jersey Shore, Janice Dickinson, Alex McCord, Courtney Robertson, Tiffany 'New York' Pollard, Lil Kim and more walking the runway to raise money for AIDS. RFRA has received considerable praise along with an even amount of backlash. Shocked at many of the mixed messages surrounding the HIV/AIDS awareness event, the creator of RFRA released a statement:

How I love your boho-chicness and whimisical flair.The brand, Urban Outfitters' orgin, invokes femininity, courage, and spirit in their key demographic: the twenties-something girl who wants to explore her creativity through clothing. The brand describes themselves as having 'great quality and affordability.' But that's where I disagree a little. I feel, personally, that the sale prices on Free People is a little closer to what retail should be.

Both Christian Siriano and Padma Lakshmi are coming to HSN! On Feb. 22, Siriano will debut Striking by Christian Siriano, a capsule line, on HSN priced from $79.90 to $169.90. While Lakshmi, known on HSN in a culinary capacity, is branching into jewelry under the PL by Padma Lakshmi brand. Priced from $16 to $90, the pieces will launch on the network on March 22.
