This year's expanded program will award scholarships to 30 talented Rhode Island student artists, ages 11-14, each of whom will receive a scholarship of up to $500 that will provide an opportunity to attend local summer arts education programs that will expand their experiences in a chosen area of study (please see below for the list of ARTS Scholarships 2012 winners).

The MainStreet Theatre Company Presents A WRINKLE IN TIME, 5/5-20March 21, 2012The MainStreet Theatre Company will end its 6th season with an adaptation of Madeleine L'Engles' Newberry Award winning classic A Wrinkle in Time. The book is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and The MainStreet Theatre Company was awarded a grant from the National Endowment of the Arts to help support the production. Performances run from May 5th - May 20th at Rancho Cucamonga's Lewis Family Playhouse in the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center. The adaptation is by John Glore, and it will be directed by Robert Castro.
