April Boyle

April Boyle is a writer, editor, photographer, project manager and publicist from Casco, Maine. She has freelanced for various publications over the past thirty years, including Performer Magazine, the Portland Press Herald, Reuters and Worth Magazine. April has enjoyed writing about such diverse industries as finance, wastewater management and online education, but her passion has always been in entertainment and travel. She began her career as a writer and photographer covering the music scene in Maine and New Hampshire for Face Magazine and went on to cover music, dance, comedy and theater for nation-wide online and print media. April is also the author of an educational children’s book series about the life and adventures of Bennie Bug, a ladybug from Maine. The two travel the world together, returning home to chronical their journeys in words and pictures. The latest installment in the series, set in Rome, Italy, is slated to be released on Amazon later this year.
