You Can't Stop The Music - THECHO!R Celebrates The Singers & Songwriters From The 1980's

Presented by THECHO!R with Artistic Director Dr Jonathon Welch AM at Collingwood Town Hall, on Sunday 1st July at 3pm. Come and sing along to all your favourite hits from Cyndi Lauper, Bon Jovi, U2, Madonna, Tears for Fears and more!

THECHO!R is Melbourne's most exciting non-auditioned choir, its purpose is to:promote excellence in music-making in rehearsal and performance for singers; provide the opportunity to share knowledge and interact socially with those who have common interests and goals; and, to help raise funds for various charities through concerts and performances.

This fabulous concert seeks to raise funds to support the Country Women's Association - Alphington Branch 'Celebrating 90 years of Diversity'. The Alphington Branch was established in April 2017 with the view to furthering the work of the Country Women's Association of Victoria in our local community. The CWA is a self-funded volunteer philanthropic organisation with a focus on friendship, personal development and advocacy. The Association encourages advocating on community issues; sustainable development and the protection of the environment; and social issues. The CWA also encourages supporting community and taking an interest in the workings of government at all levels. It awards educational grants and scholarships.
