A weekend brimming with Impro workshops and shows is set to become an instant hit for all performers out there! Four of the nation's most respected Improvisers are winging their way from across the country to bring their inspired insights to Melbourne.

Daniel Cordeaux - a regular player on Thank God You're Here - shares the secrets of his trademark versatility of playing up to five characters an episode.

Rebecca deUnamuno - Australia's leading sketch comedienne (Comedy Inc., Chaser's War on Everything) - reveals the techniques to improvise musical theatre.

Cale Bain - the heart and soul of the Sydney Improv scene - brings a toolkit of skills that lays the foundation of character building.

Glenn Hall - WAAPA lecturer - uses the classic methods of theatre-makers Stanislavsky and Mike Leigh to intensify any impro performance.

Taking place in Melbourne's cultural heartland, Prahran, The Classic will keep the blood pumping. By day, our interstate guests share the nuts and bolts of their craft. By night, they bring them shining to the stage with Melbourne's best improvisers. It's going to be a classic weekend.
