R O S S & R A C H E L Comes to Melbourne Fringe

What happens after the end, after you find "The One"?

"Look at all those couples. Which one will leave. Which one will run. Which one is cheating on the other. Which one will die first. Him. Him. Her. Him."

A two person dialogue performed by one, James Fritz's Ross & Rachel picks up ten years after the tv show ends, delving into the marriage of the show's titular characters and asking the question - what happens after the end, after you find "The One"?

After a hit debut season in its original production at Edinburgh Fringe (2015), Ross & Rachel now receives its Australian premiere. Performed by Jessica Stanley, following her acclaimed appearance in Festival favourite Ménage (MFF16)*, and directed by Faran Martin, this hour-long piece pulls its punches from a decade of expectation and the cataclysmic realisation that "forever" can feel

like a very long time.

No knowledge of the TV series Friends is required to enjoy this show, but those familiar will get a kick out of some passing references.

Ross & Rachel will be Auslan interpreted on the 20th of September.

CONTENT WARNING: This performance contains moderate coarse language and adult themes, including references to self harm, suicide and terminal illness. It is not suitable for persons under the age of 15.
