COOGEE CAROLS Set for Coogee Beach, 12/15

Randwick City Council presents the COOGEE CAROLS at the Goldstein Reserve, Coogee Beach on Sunday, 15 December 2013 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Each year, this free event draws an audience from local and surrounding areas to celebrate community, family and the spirit of Christmas, opposite one of the most beautiful beaches in the world for a relaxed night of fun for everyone to enjoy. Hosted By Andrew Mercado and Jo Casamento, soloists for 2013 include; Ben Mingay from Network Tens Wonderland, Simon Pryce, Kirby Burgess, Katie Nejaim, Brendan Moar, Joseph Sullivan, Jennifer Peers, Kurt Phelan, Tyran Park, Tony Cogin, Chloe Marshal, Paulini, Jaynie Seal, Caroline Casper, Chris Horsey, David Harris and Santa.

Randwick Mayor Scott Nash said: "The Coogee Carols on Coogee Beach are now a tradition within the Randwick City community and draw an impressive crowd of around 10,000 people every year. They're a great way to celebrate the festive season, I encourage everyone to come along with their families and dig deep for women's rehabilitation centre Jarrah House, who will benefit from the sale of song books and glow sticks at the event."

"If you are able to come down early and grab your spot in front of the stage you will be treated to some wonderful Christmas films screened on the Large Screens that are placed at Goldstein Reserve to ensure that when the carols commence everyone can see the performances, " said co producer Michelle Guthrie.
