After Hours Cabaret Club Comes to The Melba Spiegeltent
With enough sass, charm and decadence to power a moonshine distillery... Welcome to the After Hours Cabaret Club, where the hottest burlesque, cabaret, sideshow and circus stars let loose after working their glamorous shows all over town. It's the biggest and best carnie celebration Melbourne has ever seen.
After Hours is produced by international burlesque artists, Bettie Bombshell and Maple Rose, with a cast of award-winning performers hand-picked from around the world. August's show features a smorgasbord of talent including resident MC/Cabaret Darling Tash York, fresh from Berlin boylesque superstar Raven, sideshow and fire freak Elle Diablo, the inimitable Miss Bettie Bombshell (Burlesque Hall of Fame), performance artist Liberté la Femme and many more.
One of the most unique acts to hit the stage this month is Loki "Wheels" Rickus who brings his unique blend of circus, cabaret and dance all from the seat of his wheelchair. In true After Hours style the show boasts an incredible 5 piece band who play live throughout the whole performance, with their jazz/gypsy stylings making even the worst pop song a hit. You'll feel like you've been transported back in time the moment you step into the Spiegeltent.
