For music lovers, this July Exchange – Behind the Music program presented by South Fulton Arts will feature a soul-stirring concert by Okorie “OKCello” Johnson, an Atlanta-based performer, composer and storyteller known for blending classical, jazz and Afrocentric traditions through live looping and improvisation. As a Kennedy Center artist-in-residence who recorded and performed with Maxwell, India.Arie and Big Boi, OK Cello’s compositions include award-winning scores, groundbreaking concerts and a preview of his soon-to-be-released album. This event will be held in Hapeville and promises an intimate yet powerful musical experience.
