Tyler Perry's play MADEA ON THE RUN starring Tyler Perry, will bring seven performances to the Beacon Theatre starting tonight, September 3, 2015, with various dates and times through September 6, 2015. This four-day run marks Tyler Perry's first performance at The Beacon Theatre in 10 years.

In this outrageously funny stage play, Mabel Simmons, notoriously known as Madea, is in trouble with the local authorities and is on the run from the law. Madea, the old brash matriarch, takes refuge with her long-time friend, Bam, who is recovering from hip surgery. While Bam is grateful for Madea's help in nursing her back to health, Madea is only using this helpful friend act as a way to hide out from the police.

In his return to the live stage, director, actor and producer Tyler Perry stars in the production as he showcases another humorous, musical creation that is sure to please all audiences. MADEA ON THE RUN will feature brand new music written by Tyler Perry and will deliver a finger snapping and inspirational evening of theater. For the limited 10-week national run, which starts tonight, September 3, 2015, at The Beacon Theatre, Tyler Perry will play the role of Madea and fan-favorite, Cassi Davis will play the role of Bam. Davis has been seen in several productions of the Tyler Perry collection including stage, TV and film and is most well-known for her role as Ella in the television sitcom House of Payne on TBS.

Tickets are now on sale to the general public at the Beacon Theatre, MSG and Radio City Music Hall Box Offices and are available through Ticketmaster Charge By Phone (1-866-858-0008) and all Ticketmaster Outlets.
