Broadway Star Tituss Burgess will join Daniel Reichard for Reichard's annual Christmas show. Burgess was the star of such shows as The Little Mermaid, Guys and Dolls, Jersey Boys and Good Vibrations. The two actors have a long-term professional association and frequently appear in concert together.
Daniel Reichard, original star of Broadway's "Jersey Boys" and the recent New York City Opera revival of "Candide," will return to the New York stage on December 10th at 9 P.M. at the Triad Theater for his annual Christmas concert.
The evening will be filled with classic Christmas songs, popular American standards and contemporary hits. Reichard, along with his special guests and eight-piece band, will sing the music of
George Gershwin, Rodgers and Hart, Coldplay, Jay-Z, and others. Like the Christmas season itself, this year's show will be both outrageous and heartfelt. Reichard says, "In the midst of your holiday rush, let this show be the guaranteed jumpstart to your Christmas spirit."
Up-and-coming actors Emily Bottorff, Jake Loewenthal,
Paul Louis Lessard and Lindsay Luppino will join Reichard for the concert, along with other special guests.
Daniel Reichard is currently touring North America with original "Jersey Boys" co-stars
Christian Hoff,
Michael Longoria and
J. Robert Spencer as "The Midtown Men." His other credits include starring roles in
The Public Theater's "Radiant Baby," "The Thing about Men," "
Forbidden Broadway," "
Jim Henson's Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas," forthcoming film of "Forever Plaid."
