The Inspired Word Series Presents Speaking Volumes May 11
Join Behind the Book for an evening of poetry, spoken word, and music at One on One (The Nexus Lounge) on Wednesday, May 11th from 6:30-9:00pm. The event will feature performances by HBO Def Poets, Carlos Andres Gomez, Shanelle Gabriel, Bonafide Rojas, and many more. It will also feature a special performance by our students at Harvey Milk High School.

All of the proceeds from the event will go towards Behind the Book's programs, providing curriculum-integrated literacy programs to students in NYC public schools.
