The Green Room 42 Hosts TALENTED PEOPLE DOING THINGS: A PEANUTS VARIETY SHOW

Musical Director Ben Houghton (Broadway Babies) leads the talented cast that brought you the sold-out run of Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead, this time showing off their vocal chops and off-beat talents in a one-night performance entitled, "Talented People Doing Things: A Peanuts Variety Show". Tessa Faye (Pokémon, Electric Company) and Nikki MacCallum (Caroline's, Dangerfield's, VH1) will host the Saturday, October 13, 2018, at 9:30 p.m. evening show, which is taking place at Broadway's newest and funkiest cabaret space The Green Room 42. The night will feature the works of up-and-coming composers and lyricists, a stand-up set, a lip sync battle, and variety of other entertaining sketches that are sure to keep the audience entertained.

Returning from the February Dog Sees God cast is Broadway Alum Autumn Guzzardi [9 to 5, Escape to Margaritaville (Pre-Broadway Tour)], Dog Sees God producer and lead Kevin Martinez [The Chalice (w/Tony Nominated Austin Pendleton), Waste, Fraud & Abuse: The Musical (13thSt. Rep)], Sam Morales [Measure for Measure, Pericles and The Skin of Our Teeth (Off-Broadway)], Andrew O'Shanick [Sunday In the Park ..., A Little Night Music(Huntington Theatre)], Levin Valayil, [Monsoon Wedding (Berkeley Rep), Jungle Book], Genvieve Johnson, [A&E: Killer Verdict], Joe Marx [Spelling Bee, Molasses in January (NY Theatre)], and Chelsea Stavis [Heathers The Musical, How to Succeed ...(TUTS, Tx.)].

The Green Room 42, is Broadway's newest urban entertainment cabaret club, that since its opening on Valentine's day has featured Broadway names like Alice Ripley, Telly Leung, Josh Groban, Eva Noblezada, Lillias White, James Snyder, The Skivvies (Lauren Molina & Nick Cearley), Matt Doyle, Constantine Maroulis, and many more. Located on the fourth floor of YOTEL NYC, The Green Room 42 boasts a funky new vibe, and no food or beverage minimum-- opening up the cabaret industry to an affordable, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for theatre people and theatre fans alike.

The creatives behind the show are the duo of Martinez and Tessa Faye Talent, in conjunction with MacCallum. The duo of Martinez and Faye are coming off the recent success of the New York debut of Abnormal: A New Play, in which they contributed as creatives, producers and helped the show sell out its September run. The composers and lyricists for the evening's songs are still being confirmed, but rest assured the lineup includes talent that is the future of the Great White Way.
