The Actors Fund’s Annual Gala Honors Harry Belafonte, Jerry Stiller et al. Tonight, 5/21

The Actors Fund's annual gala tonight, May 21, 2012 at the New York Marriott Marquis, 1535 Broadway, will honor Tony and Emmy Award winning artist activist Harry Belafonte, acting duo Anne Meara and Jerry Stiller, and real estate developer David Steiner.
Belafonte will be honored for his lifelong career as artist and activist with the Lee Strasberg Artistic Achievement Award, while Stiller and Meara will receive The Actors Fund Medal of Honor for their long-time commitment to The Fund. Steiner, a trustee since 2006, will also receive The Fund's Medal of Honor for his service to the national human services organization.
The event begins with 6 pm cocktails, with dinner and entertainment at 7 pm. The evening will include special tribute performances by guests to be announced.
