Tonight, August 6, 2015, The New York Pops will perform an inaugural concert at its new summer home, Forest Hills Stadium, with two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster, joined by former Broadway co-stars Colin Donnell and Megan McGinnis.

Among other numbers, Foster will perform John Denver's "Sunshine on my Shoulders," Cole Porter's "I Get a Kick Out of You," and will reprise her touching duet "Flight" with McGinnis. Donnell will perform a duet with Foster, in addition to "On the Streets of Dublin," from Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's A Man of No Importance. The concert is sponsored by Morgan Stanley and Reed Smith.

The concerts at the open-air venue will expand the orchestra's Kids in the Balcony program, offering over 2,000 children an opportunity to learn about and enjoy live music for free.

"It's been a joy working with The New York Pops and with Steven Reineke, and I'm thrilled to join them in their inaugural season at Forest Hills Stadium," said Sutton Foster. "Steven brings an innovative, fun approach to symphonic pops concerts, and I feel lucky to share the stage with him and this brilliant orchestra. The musicians are sensitive and versatile, and the orchestra brings every chart it plays to life. Performing outdoors is such a joy. I can't wait to sing at Forest Hills Stadium with the great New York Pops!"

"I am so thrilled that our first concert at Forest Hills Stadium will feature Sutton Foster with our fantastic orchestra! Sutton is an incredible singer, a versatile actress, and one heck of a dancer," said Music Director Steven Reineke. "She always puts on such a great show, and I know that she and our great orchestra will make our inaugural concert at Forest Hills Stadium a blockbuster."

The New York Pops concerts at Forest Hills Stadium are family-friendly events, with ticket packages beginning at only $10. Up to four children (16 and under) will be admitted FREE with the purchase of one adult ticket.

Forest Hills Stadium events have been made possible through a partnership with the local community, with a focus on making concerts an experience to be enjoyed by all New Yorkers. Dedicated entrance and exits have been constructed to manage audience flow and a sound mitigation project is underway which is designed to lower the overall noise levels around the stadium during concerts. The stadium is conveniently located feet from the E, M, F, and R subway trains as well as the Long Island Rail Road, and concert-goers are strongly encouraged to utilize public transportation as there is no parking available at the stadium or in the surrounding community.

The New York Pops Summer Series will continue with a concert on Friday, August 7, featuring genre-defying "little orchestra" Pink Martini.

Tickets are on sale at www.foresthillsstadium.com and range from $10 to $129. Kids tickets (16 and under) FREE with purchase of one adult ticket.
