Steve Rosen to Host 2015 Arts For All Benefit Cabaret Next Month at 42 West

Arts For All is thrilled to announce that Steve Rosen is hosting our Annual Benefit Cabaret on April 13th at 42 West. On Broadway, Steve originated the roles of Sir Belvedere, et al in Spamalot, Harlan Honn, et. al. in The Farnsworth Invention; and played Benny Southstreet in the 2009 revival of Guys & Dolls.

This year's benefit cabaret will be directed by Broadway veteran, Alexander Gemignani, and will feature a collection of Broadway's best performers including Aaron Lazar, Kate Baldwin, Elizabeth Stanley, Jessica Grové, Stan Bahorek, Kristie Kerwin and more. The show will be music directed by Tedd Firth and will feature Matt Aronoff on bass and Tedd Firth on piano.

All proceeds from the show will support Arts For All's free arts workshops for under-served children.

Arts For All offers accessible artistic opportunities to children in the New York City area who face socio- economic, physical, or emotional barriers to exploring the arts. Through Arts For All, professional artists work with youth organizations to build self-confidence, self-expression, teamwork, resilience, and creativity in children.

The benefit will be held on April 13, 2015 at 42 West, located at 514 West 42nd Street, NYC. Doors open at 6pm for a silent auction. The show begins at 7pm. Tickets range from $35 to $150 and are available through the Arts For All website (www.arts-for-all.org).

Steve Rosen is an actor, writer and composer/lyricist. Most recently: The Civilians' Pretty Filthy at the Abrons Arts Center. On Broadway he originated principal roles in Spamalot, The Farnsworth Invention and the 2009 revival of Guys & Dolls. Off-Broadway he co-wrote and starred in both The Other Josh Cohen (with David Rossmer) which was nominated for 6 Drama Desk Awards and Don't Quit Your Night Job(with Rossmer, Dan Lipton and Sarah Saltzberg). Off-Broadway: Peter and the Starcatcher; CQ/CX, Franz Kafka's The Castle, others. Regional: Paper Mill (NJ), La Jolla (CA),Woolly Mammoth (DC), Goodspeed (CT), MUNY (MO), others.
