IMDB reports that stage and screen star Alfred Molina is excited to take to the stage with a planned one-man show and is hoping theatregoers will get a laugh out of the criticisms he received from his first U.S. casting agent.

Molina couldn't believe some of the things he was being told and has been holding it inside all these years waiting for the right moment to reveal them.

He tells WENN, "I met with a casting agent once and one of these days I'm going to put what he said to me in a one-man show.

"He said, 'You know, you English actors, you got a problem. You come over here and you think showbusiness is one word, it's not; it's two words - show and business, and not necessarily in that order.'

Alfred Molina first came to public attention in the UK for his joint lead role with Gary Oldman in the 1987 film Prick Up Your Ears. He appeared on Broadway in Fiddler of the Roof and Art. He is also known for his roles in Spider-Man 2, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Species, Not Without My Daughter, Chocolat, Frida, Steamboy, The Hoax, The Da Vinci Code, Little Traitor.
