Stage III Community Theatre will present three upcoming shows at its theatre, 900 North Center Street.

Wolf!, the winner of the ARTCORE one-act playwriting competition, is a comedy for young audiences, but clever enough to keep all ages entertained. It weaves wolf-themed fables and fairy tales together in a Wyoming setting. Written and directed by Heather Judd, the show will be performed October 2, 3 and 4.

Leviathan 99 will be Stage III's annuAl Halloween Readers Theatre co-production with the Casper Planetarium. Written by Ray Bradbury and directed by Pat Greiner, the show is a space-going adaptation of Moby Dick, with an obsessed spaceship captain searching for the great while comet which blinded him years before. Performances will be October 29, 30, 31, and November 1 at the Planetarium.

Sherlock's Veiled Secret by K. C. Brown is Stage III's main stage production for November. Stephen Grothe will direct this intriguing mystery which plays November 6 - 21. Although in retirement, Holmes takes on a case of blackmail - and enlists the help of a young woman with a mysterious past of her own.

Stage III is a non-profit, all-volunteer community theater that has produced over 100 shows since its start in 1980. In 2001, we moved into our own building, located at 900 North Center near several restaurants. Our season runs from September to June, and features six productions chosen to appeal to a broad spectrum of the community.
