Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) today announced it is honoring and celebrating the life of Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor with a wide range of special programming across multiple talk/entertainment channels. The tribute to the Academy Award®-winning actress and tireless AIDS advocate, who passed away at age 79 on March 23, includes: Barbara Walters' and Oprah Winfrey's classic interviews with Taylor, an interview with Debbie Reynolds conducted by Larry Flick, the 1947 Lux Radio Theatre adaptation of National Velvet starring Taylor and Mickey Rooney in their original film roles, and interviews about Taylor's advocacy of AIDS/HIV research, prevention, treatment and education on LGBT channel OutQ.

SiriusXM's programming lineup dedicated to Elizabeth Taylor includes:

Barbara Walters' classic interview with Taylor: Walters' 1999 interview with the Academy Award®-winning actress features Taylor speaking candidly about her life, her illnesses and her very public love life. When Walters asked how she'd want her epitaph to read, Taylor replied, "Here lies Elizabeth. She hated being called Liz. But she lived." Airs March 25 at 2:00 am and 4:00 am, March 26 at 6:00 am, 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 5:00 pm, 10:00 pm, and March 27 at 3:00 am, 5:00 am, 7:00 am and 11:00 am ET on SiriusXM Stars, Sirius channel 102, XM channel 155.

Oprah Winfrey's classic interviews with Taylor from "The Oprah Winfrey Show": On Elizabeth Taylor's first appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" from February 1,1988 Oprah sits down with Taylor to discuss her marriage to Senator John Warner and her book, Elizabeth Takes Off. Taylor's second appearance on the Oprah show was on March 4, 1992. In this interview she discusses her marriage to Larry Fortensky, her childhood and her friendship with Michael Jackson, among many other things. Interviews air back to back March 25 at 5:00 am, 6:00 am, 11:00 am and 12:00 pm ET on Oprah Radio, XM channel 156 and Sirius channel 195 as part of "The Best of XM." The 1988 interviews also airs March 25 at 4:00 pm ET, and the 1992 interview also airs March 25 at 8:00 pm ET.

Debbie Reynolds interview with SiriusXM host Larry Flick: Reynolds reflects on her decades-long relationship with Taylor on Flick's SiriusXM OutQ show The Morning Jolt. Airs March 28 at 10:00 am ET on OutQ, Sirius channel 109, XM channel 98.
Classic radio adaptation of "National Velvet" starring Taylor and Mickey Rooney on RadioClassics: Taylor and Mickey Rooney reprise their original roles from the film version in this hour-long 1947 hour-long Lux Radio Theatre adaptation of National Velvet. Plus, a 1950 episode of Cavalcade of America -"I, Mary Peabody"-starring Taylor in the title role. Airs March 27 at 8:00 am and 8:00 pm ET and March 30 at 4:00 pm ET on RadioClassics, Sirius channel 118 and XM channel 164.

LGBT channel OutQ honors Taylor's fight against AIDS: OutQ host Larry Flick interviews amfAR CEO Kevin Frost about Taylor's extraordinary work dedicated to the support of AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment and education as amfAR's Founding International Chairman and the current state of AIDS funding and research. OutQ host Michelangelo Signorile explores Taylor's life, career and dedication to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS in an interview with William Mann, author of the 2009 biography How to Be a Movie Star: Elizabeth Taylor in Hollywood. Flick/Frost interview airs March 26 at 9:30 am ET, Signorile/Mann interview airs March 26 at 4:00 pm ET on OutQ, Sirius channel 109, XM channel 98.
