When [title of show] star Susan Blackwell's brother found out that his son, Tony, had type 1 diabetes, he put his computer programming skills to use and created an online nutrition calculator called "TonysPlate" to be used by those with and without diabetes.

The website is now in the running for Michelle Obama's "Apps for Healthy Kids Contest" and the [title of show] cast wants you to vote for TonysPlate! To find out more, watch Jeff Bowen, Hunter Bell, Heidi Blickenstaff, and Susan Blackwell's video.

The Apps for Healthy Kids competition is a part of First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! campaign to end childhood obesity within a generation. Apps for Healthy Kids challenges software developers, game designers, students, and other innovators to develop fun and engaging software tools and games that drive children, especially "tweens" (ages 9-12) - directly or through their parents - to eat better and be more physically active.
