STAGE TUBE: Kelly Ripa Bids Farewell on Regis Philbin's Final LIVE! Broadcast

Popular talk show host Regis Philbin hosted his final LIVE! WITH REGIS AND KELLY this morning and he went out with a bang!  After 29 years on the air, Regis commented, 'I've had a wonderful time'.

Included in today's farewell episode was a look back on some of the most memorable moments on the show. Philbin also gave a huge 'thank you' to the millions of fans who have tuned in each morning to catch up with the latest news of the day and a glimpse into the lives of hosts Philbin and Ripa. 

Co-host Ripa credited Philbin for all his support during the ten year period that she has appeared on the show. The studio audience consisted of both friends and family members including such luminaries as Donald Trump, Katie Couric and Diane Sawyer. The cast of 'Rent', now playing off-Broadway in New York City, serenaded Philbin with the show's hit song, 'Seasons of Love'.

At the end of the hour long show, Philbin was joined on stage by family and friends as he said his final goodbye.
