STAGE TUBE: First Look - Oscar Promotional Trailer for HARRY POTTER & THE DEATHLY HALLOWS - Part 2

Warner Brothers has just released a special Oscar promotional trailer for the movie HARRY POTTER DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2. The studio has posted the video on its 'For Your Consideration' minisite in the hope that the Academy will consider it for the 2012 Awards.  The studio is hopeful that the film will be considered for the 'Best Picture' category.  As a result of recent rule changes, the Academy may now nominate up to ten films in this prestigious category. 

It was recently announced that the Art Directors Guild's Outstanding Contribution to Cinematic Imagery Award will be given to the creative team behind the Warner Brother's  film at the 16th Annual Excellence in Production Design Awards in February. The award marks the first time that ADG has chosen to honor a series of films with the distinguished award.

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOW PART 2 is set to be released on DVD and Blu-ray on November 11th.
