STAGE TUBE: Charlie Sheen Admits Regrets on NBC's TODAY

On this morning's TODAY show on NBC, actor Charlie Sheen sat down with anchor Matt Lauer for a candid talk about the events which took place a year ago. Lauer began the interview by stating, "There were people who probably, last year at this time, would have placed a bet that you might not even be around - literally."

Lauer's comments referred to Sheens unusual behavior both on and off the set of the CBS comedy 'Two and a Half Men'. The actor was eventually fired from the show by its creator Chuck Lorre and went on a Media Blitz in which he boasted about his drug use and slandered Lorre's reputation.

Sheen will soon be seen on a new sitcom for FX ironically titled 'Anger Management'. The show will premiere on June 28. Regretted Sheen, "I couldn't have the Two and a Half Men thing be my TV legacy - I couldn't have it end on that note. So far, eight days (on Anger Management) was more fun than eight years (at Two and a Half Men)."
