Current "Dancing with the Stars" celeb dancers and recent leads of Broadway's BURN THE FLOOR Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy have recently called off their engagement and now Maksim is now commenting to Entertainment Tonight. You can watch the clip right here on STAGE TUBE!

Despite their break-up, Maks and Karina are scheduled to reunite for a performance at the "61st Primetime Emmy Awards" in a segment that will spotlight dancing within reality television.

BURN THE FLOOR opened on August 2. It received four stars from the NY Daily News, which called it "athletic, sensual and rocket-fueled." Bloomberg.com called it "utterly theatrical. A dance show I can wholeheartedly recommend to everyone," and NY 1 News called it "hot, hot, hot. Pulse-pounding choreography. A two-hour adrenaline rush featuring some of the best and best-looking ballroom dancers in the world."

BURN THE FLOOR plays at Broadway's Longacre Theatre, 220 West 48 Street. Maksim and Karina's final performance with the show was August 16. On August 18, Anya Garnis and Pasha Kovalev of "So You Think You Can Dance" joined the company. BURN THE FLOOR runs through October 18.
