STAGE TUBE: 60 MINUTES Pays Tribute to Andy Rooney

Veteran news reporter Andy Rooney passed away last week at the age of 92 due to complications from minor surgery. Rooney was a mainstay on CBS' 60 MINUTES, delivering his weekly observances on the minute details of life for the past 33 years. On last night's show, reporter Morley Safer gave a special tribute to him.
In the segment, Safer referred to Rooney as "the country's favorite grouch-in-chief", referring to the curmudgeon personality Rooney was most remembered for. Rooney had retired from the CBS news show this past September.
