Riverside Church to Kick Off 2013-14 Music Season with Boys and Men's Choir of Trinity Church, 10/8

Kicking off the start of its 2013-2014 calendar of music events, The Riverside Church will host the Boys and Men's Choir of Trinity Church (Denmark), for a concert of choral music on Tuesday, October 8, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Nave of the Church, 490 Riverside Drive (bet. 120 & 122nd Sts.), Morningside Heights.

Riverside is thrilled to welcome this preeminent choir from Esbjerg, Denmark, considered to be the finest choir of men and boys in Denmark and renowned through its numerous performances around the world, and radio and TV broadcasts in Denmark and throughout Europe and North America. Founded in the English Cathedral choral tradition, the choir - conducted by Lone Geslinge - will sing music by Stanford, Schütz, Purcell and various Scandinavian composers.
