Jim Caruso’s Cast Party welcomed a particularly special guest on Monday night: the newly crowned Miss America, Cassie Donegan. Check out photos from the show!
Wearing her gleaming crown, Donegan took the stage to speak briefly about the importance of arts education before delivering a heartfelt, pitch-perfect performance of “Hopelessly Devoted to You.”
The evening’s surprises continued when Broadway favorite— and Miss America 1998—Kate Shindle joined Cassie for a dynamic duet of “That’s Life.” As Donegan made her exit, Broadway’s Jelani Remy stormed the stage with an enormous bouquet, offering a celebratory welcome to Miss America from the show biz community, as Cassie begins this remarkable new chapter.
