It's common knowledge that Bemelmans Bar in The Carlyle is one of the most elegant rooms in the world. Some of the most famous and successful people on the planet have enjoyed an evening in the intimacy and refined atmosphere that is it's trademark. However it really doesn't become Bemelmans until someone sits at the grand piano and creates The Carlyle experience.
Loston Harris is a premier example of the musical enhancement that makes Bemelmans Bar become a sophisticated and happy room in the true tradition of the legendary Bobby Short. Loston's piano and vocals are true "Carlyle" and his beaming smile keeps the room in good spirits along with the good spirits served up. The Loston Harris Trio, Ian Hendrickson Smith on sax and Gianluc Renzi, bass appear every Friday & Saturday 9:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Check out photos from last night's show below!
