Pequana Playhouse's Scholarship Apps Now Being Accepted
If you or anyoNe You know is graduating from high school this year, consider applying for Pequana Playhouse's Lynn Hilbrand Memorial Scholarship. One $750 scholarship will be awarded to a 2009 graduating senior from the Lake of the Woods area. Students from Lake of the Woods High School, Rainy River High School and Indus High School, as well as area home-schooled students, are welcome to apply. Applications from students who are active in the arts, especially in Pequana-sponsored events, will be weighted favorably, but all seniors are welcome to apply.
Paper applications are available at the Lake of the Woods High School office, the Indus High School office, and the Rainy River High School office. Students are also encouraged to submit applications by email. See Pequana's website at http://www.pequana.org for details.
