The show comes bakc to NYC after sold-out runs in Miami and Washington, D.C.. Broadway Star Anthony Wayne (PIPPIN, PRISCILLA; ANYTHING GOES [2011]) directs, sings, lives and breathes life as the 1970's Disco Singer Sylvester live on Stage. Join in on June 30, 2013 for two shows, one night only, at 7pm and 10pm.
Presented by AnthonyKen LLC, "YOU MAKE ME FEEL, MIGHT REAL: A SYLVESTER CONCERT" tells the life story of Sylvester through HIS music HIS way. Beyond all the trials, tribulations, glitz and glamour of his lifestyle, he was a symbol for being FABULOUS, but, also, a symbol for unapologetically being who he was. The words and music of this show will enter your ear, soar through your heart and inspire your soul. Bring your dancing shoes and get ready to dance, laugh, cry and see Sylvester's Fashionable Coutures.
Anthony Wayne has stunned the masses with his directorial debut. The creative director/costume designer is Wayne's life partner Celebrity Stylist Kendrell Bowman (Recording Artists K. Michelle, Kanye West, David Banner, Lauriana Mae). Together they put together a memorable experience. The show also features Broadway's Anastacia McCleskey (PRISCILLA; Hair) and Jacqueline B. Arnold (PRISCILLA) as The Two Tons of Fun/Weather Girls. Backed by the Sylvester Singers (Antoine L. Smith (MEMPHIS) / Rashidra Scott (Sister Act; Avenue Q.)) and a FULL LIVE Band led by Drummer Jason Patterson, this show is GUARANTEED to have you dancing in the aisles.
