2014 Olivier Awards to Be Held April 13; New Music Category Introduced

The Society of London Theatre announced today that the Olivier Awards 2014 with MasterCard will be held on Sunday 13April, once again at the prestigious Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.

The cut-off date for eligible productions is Tuesday 25 February 2014 and more details of the plans for the awards will be announced in January 2014.

A new award category, "Outstanding Achievement in Music", is being introduced in 2014. This new category will bring together potential nominations across the music fields including composition of original music for plays, orchestration and musical supervision/direction.
