Nathan Lane Hosts 'East End for Obama' Fundraiser Today, 8/24

According to the New York Post, Nathan Lane is set to host a fundraiser for President Barack Obama called "East End for Obama" today, August 24.

The event will be attended by Vice President Joe Biden and features a performance by James Taylor, with additional hosts Julianne Moore, Edie Falco and Jane Holzer.

Tickets range from $500 to $10,000. The fundraiser takes place at the home of Ellen Chesier and Matthew Mallow in Bridgehampton.

Lane will next appear on Broadway in The Nance, set for 2013, and has played roles in The Addams Family, Waiting for Godot, November, Butley, The Odd Couple, The Producers (on Broadway and the West End), The Frogs (for which he wrote the book), The Play What I Wrote, The Man Who Came to Dinner, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Love! Valour! Compassion!, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Guys and Dolls, Some Americans Abroad, Wind in the Willows, Merlin and Present Laughter and more.
