The crew of Minimum Wage officially open their open-ended Off-Broadway run tomorrow, October 20 at 8PM. Directed by Guy Stroman, the songs of Sean Altman and The LaGreca Bros. come to life with nary a musician nor instrument in sight given the company's acappella prowess; at The Theatres at 45 Bleecker Street (The Green Room).

"Minimum Wage is an acappella musical in which five hapless staffers of a Big Brother-type fast food chain attempt to initiate new trainees (the audience) into the wonders of Hamburgerology.  Working their way from the bottom all the way to the middle, these underachieving fast-food employees spend their days experiencing psychopathic French fry hallucinations and the occasional sci-fi spatula battle. Minimum Wage is super sized with dynamic harmonies, beatboxing and clockwork comic timing," explain press notes.

Minimum Wage features the award-winning, five-member acappella troupe made up of Jeff LaGreca, Charlie LaGreca, Tony Daussat, Elena M. Schloss and Bill Caleo.  In 1998 the group was awarded a Bistro Award for Outstanding Musical Comedy Act by Back Stage. The show was created by Charlie and Jeff LaGreca with music and lyrics by Sean Altman and The LaGreca Bros. Minimum Wage is directed by Guy Stroman with music direction by Will Bryan and movement by Scott Rinc.

Minimum Wage plays Thursday and Friday at 8PM, and Saturday at 8PM & 10:30PM at The Theatres at 45 Bleecker Street / The Green Room (45 Bleecker Street between Lafayette & Mott Streets).  Please note: No performance Saturday, October 20 at 10:30PM.  Tickets are $45 and may be arranged through www.Telecharge.com or by calling 212-239-6200.  For more information, visit www.burgerboys.com
