Broadway fans can deck the halls this year with a brand-new lineup of holiday albums to keep their days merry and bright.

From new albums by Stephanie J. Block and Julie Benko to releases from Cher and Hannah Waddingham, curate your holiday playlist with our list of the best Broadway Christmas albums of 2023.

Stephanie J. Block - "Merry Christmas, Darling"

Tony Award-winning Broadway star Stephanie J. Block releases her debut holiday album, featuring her husband, Sebastian Arcelus. Merry Christmas, Darling is a lush and ravishing holiday treat featuring both secular and sacred seasonal classics, in addition to new musical discoveries.


Julie Benko - "Christmas with You"

Funny Girl breakout and Harmony alum Julie Benko releases a new Christmas EP. The EP features the Yiddish folk song “Tumbalalaika” for Chanukah; a new take on “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” and “(I Never Had a) Christmas with You,” an original tune penned by Benko, which is also a duet with Grammy-nominee Mykal Kilgore.  Pre-order the new EP here.


Hannah Waddingham - "Home For Christmas"

Recorded live at The Coliseum in London, one of London’s oldest and most beautiful theaters, Broadway and West End alum Hannah Waddingham rings in the season with musical performances of beloved Christmas classics. The album accompanies are brand-new Apple TV+ musical special and features Leslie Odom Jr., Luke Evans, Sam Ryder, Phil Dunster and more special guests.


Liz Gillies and Seth MacFarlane - "We Wish You the Merriest"

Broadway alum Liz Gillies and comedian Seth McFarlane lend their voices to a new holiday duets album, including standards like "Here Comes Santa Claus," "The Christmas Song," "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," "Sleigh Ride," and more.


Johnny Mathis - "Christmastime Is Here"

Kristin Chenoweth joins Johnny Mathis on his seventh holiday album, "Christmastime Is Here." The album also features "Merry Christmas, Baby," "White Christmas," "When a Child Is Born," and "Blue Christmas."


Cher - "Christmas"

"Christmas," Cher’s first new studio album in five years, includes 13 songs - several holiday classics and four originals. It also has a star-studded list of musical friends including Darlene LoveStevie Wonder, Michael Bublé, Cyndi Lauper and Tyga.


Brandy - "Christmas With Brandy"

Chicago on Broadway and Cinderella movie alum Brandy Norwood releases her first ever Holiday album. The 11-track project boasts soulful interpretations of seasonal classics like “Deck the Halls” and “Jingle Bells” as well as a selection of holiday originals including the steamy new single “Christmas Party for Two” and “Christmas Gift."


Sabrina Carpenter - "fruitcake"

Former star of Mean Girls on Broadway and Disney Channel Sabrina Carpenter releases a new holiday collection. The new EP includes 2022's "A Nonsense Christmas," "buy me presents," "santa doesn't know you like i do," "cindy lou who," "is it new years yet?," and "white xmas." The EP comes as she opens for Taylor Swift on tour.
