At last night's New York premiere of GRANDMA, a much talked about hit of the Tribeca Film Festival, film star Lily Tomlin spoke to Showbiz411's Paula Schwartz about the possibility of returning to Broadway.

"I'm hoping to. Oh, I hope to!" shared Tomlin of a return to the Great White Way. "I am trying to get Jane [Wagner], my partner, to write me a new show." The actress and comedian went on to share that Wagner, author of Tomlin's hit solo show "The Search for Intelligent Life in the Universe", was currently working on a reboot. The couple married in 2013.

The 1986 one-woman stage show The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe won the Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience. Tomlin received a Tony Award, and Funniest Actress in a Motion Picture in the American Comedy Awards for the film version of the play.
