Legendary nightlife impresario LEE CHAPPELL of Roxy, Palladium and USA fame, award-winning promoter CHRIS RYAN and internationally renowned performer ISENGART, together with the talented and hilarious Lady Rizo, host the highly anticipated return of FOREIGN AFFAIRS ~ THE NIGHTCLUB at The Griffin in New York, with musical direction by DAVID A. BERGER.
Rated "Top Live Music Show" in 2009 by Time Out New York, FOREIGN AFFAIRS is back for round two with it's critically acclaimed transnational, postmodern night club featuring live music and a wide array of entertaining acts - and you ain't seen nothin' yet!!
Back for a limited run at the ultra-glamorous, vintage inspired Griffin NYC with a unique set up (2 stages in the round!), FOREIGN AFFAIRS is returning bigger and better than ever with surprise guest performers, showgirls by SOTU Productions, specialty acts and costumed dancers. The event will also feature specially prepared Hors D'Oeuvres by Chef John Lankenau and a 'vintage' inspired cocktail menu.
Since 2009, Foreign Affairs has brought in a crowd as inclusive as it is unexpected, drawing from the Williamsburg burlesque scene, the gay downtown dance crowd, uptown's artists and entertainers, as well as boldface New Yorkers and VIP attendees, including New York Times best-selling author Candace Bushnell, NYC Ballet's principal dancer Charles Askegard, cabaret star, actor and recording artist Alan Cumming, nine-time Tony Award winner Tommy Tune, actor Carlos Leon, designer Bettina Holt, reality-TV star and author Luanne De Lesseps, designer Chris Ciccone, former MTV VJ "Downtown Julie Brown", actor Andrew McCarthy and producer Dolores Rice.
