Lea Michele to Pay Tribute to Monteith on Debut Album with 'You're Mine' Track

By:

E! reports that Lea Michele will pay tribute to her Glee co-star and boyfriend Cory Monteith with a special track to be featured on her upcoming debut album.

The actress, who performed a stirring cover of Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love" on last month's Glee tribute episode to Monteith titled 'The Quarterback,' told Elle magazine that she made the decision to add the track towards the end of the recording session.

"The album was done, and the label said, 'Do you want to add anything?' the 27-year-old told Elle in an upcoming cover story. "I was like, 'I might regret it if I don't."

Michele chose the song, "You're Mine," to pay homage to Monteith, who was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room in July from an accidental drug overdose. "It makes me so happy, this song," she says. "It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think if him, I play this."

The actress will be featured in Elle's December issue, hitting newstands on November 19th.
