BACKSTAGE @ 54 Below is set for an unforgettable evening of late-night performances this Tuesday, November 27th.
Hosted by Susan Mosher (Hairspray), special guests include Karen Mason (Wonderland, Rebecca, Mamma Mia!, Sunset Boulevard, Hairspray), NaTasha Yvette Williams (Porgy and Bess), Telly Leung (Godspell, Pacific Overtures, Rent, Flower Drum Song), Singer/Songwriter ANYA MARINA (Twilight "New Moon", Grey's Anatomy, Gossip Girl), Alysha Umphress (American Idiot, On a Clear Day) and an acoustic performance by pop rock band SWEET FIX.
BACKSTAGE is a weekly Tuesday late-night event, from 10:30pm–12:30am, where the theatre community convenes to catch up with castmates, have a cocktail, enjoy 54 Below's late-night menu, and sing among friends. Musical Director Brad Simmons (Lysistrata Jones) keeps the house jumping from the piano, while Susan Mosher (the love child of Joanne Worley & Paul Lynde) guides the crowd through an evening of music, mayhem and full throttle belting. Special guests from hit Broadway shows drop in to perform, you might even get up and sing yourself if you’re feeling brave – the night belongs to belongs to you.
