Exciting sounds of Brass and Swing will shake the legendary Joe's Pub as the two most in-demand energetic NYC swing bands - Svetlana & The Delancey Five and Danny Lipsitz & His Brass Tacks - make their special double-bill appearance at the legendary Joe's Pub! The show will feature music from critically acclaimed Svetlana's debut album Night at The Speakeasy (Origin Records, ft. Wycliffe Gordon, produced Guy Eckstine) including original compositions, swing classics and arrangements of modern standards from the pen of The Beatles and The Beach Boys and more - and special guests such as the star tap dancer Michela Marino Lerman (4 stars from all about jazz "Svetlana Shmulyian is the real article and brings a certain "other-worldness" to a jazz repertoire existing somewhere between 1920 and the Rapture").
