In an interview with CNN's Larry King, film star Jim Carrey tells the veteran interview that he'd love to come to Broadway. With the continued presence of film stars on Broadway, it's most likely only a matter of time.

Carrey said "I would love to do it. I hope I could do it. I wonder if I would get tired of saying the same words over and over again. I ran into Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane when they were doing The Producers and they looked like they wanted to string themselves up backstage. They were like, 'The jokes, the 750,00th time I've said the jokes'. I could have done that.

I want to do everything in this lifetime."

Jim Carrey is a Canadian-American film actor and comedian. He is known for his manic, slapstick performances in comedy films such as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective; Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls; The Mask; Dumb and Dumber; Me, Myself & Irene; Fun with Dick and Jane; The Cable Guy; Liar Liar; Bruce Almighty; and Batman Forever. Carrey has also achieved critical success in dramatic roles in films such as The Truman Show, Man on the Moon, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. He also provides the voice for Horton in the animated feature film Horton Hears a Who!, released March 14, 2008. The film was his first animated feature role. He has won two Golden Globe Awards.
