EXIT Festival has announced it will bring two major music events to Montenegro this summer as part of its World Tour 2026, marking a significant expansion of the festival’s international footprint.

The EXIT to Montenegro project is designed to support tourism and creative industries, with organizers positioning the country as a growing destination for music tourism. According to EXIT Festival founder and CEO Dušan Kovačević, the initiative reflects the organization’s ongoing mission to connect audiences through live music experiences in distinctive locations.

Montenegro Prime Minister Milojko Spajić said the project is expected to draw visitors from more than 100 countries, generating over 210,000 overnight stays and more than €40 million in tourism revenue.

The first event is scheduled for early July during the traditional EXIT festival weekend and will take place at Long Beach in Ulcinj, a 13-kilometre stretch of coastline in southern Montenegro. The location will serve as the setting for a large-scale outdoor music event.

The announcement also confirms the return of Sea Dance Festival to Budva. This edition will be presented as a free event for attendees. Previous editions of Sea Dance have featured artists including The Prodigy, Jamiroquai, David Guetta, Skrillex, Underworld, Fatboy Slim, Tale of Us, Boris Brejcha, Nina Kraviz, and Amelie Lens.

EXIT Festival continues to expand globally, with past international projects including events in Egypt, Croatia, and Malta. The 2026 World Tour follows recent developments in Serbia, where the festival originated, and represents a new phase of international programming for the organization.
