Candlelight Dinner Playhouse Announces Auditions for OLIVER!, 6/21-22

The Candlelight Dinner Playhouse's new production staff and creative team are holding auditions for Lionel Bart's OLIVER!, directed by Peter F. Muller and choreographed by Scott Wright.

Adult auditions will be held June 21, 2010 from 12pm to 7pm at the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse. Auditions for children, ages 8-16 for the roles of Oliver, the Artful Dodger, and Fagin's Gang, will be held on Tuesday, June 22 from 6pm -9pm. Callbacks will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2010. All auditions are by appointment only and can be made by calling the Box Office at 970-744-3747 starting June 8, 2010. Experienced singers, dancers and actors are needed. All roles are open. All roles are non-equity. All roles are paid.

Actors should bring headshot and resume and prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theater piece in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key. No a capella or recorded music. You may sing a song from the show. Rehearsals will begin approximately August 3, 2010 with rehearsal times to be determined. OLIVER! will open August 27, 2010 and run through October 24, 2010. Performances are Thursday through Saturday nights and Sunday matinees. Additional performances may be added.
