The Other Side goes to the COOL NEW YORK DANCE FESTIVAL

Blue Muse Dance and its long-term collaborators, Kyoungin Jung (Video Artist and Scenic Designer),
Hyunsuk Kim (Film Director, Writer, and Animator), and Peter Lew (Live Music Performer) return to the
COOL NEW YORK DANCE FESTIVAL 2011 with their new work The Other Side.

The Other Side premiered at The Tank 45th Theater interweaves dance, images, and live music into one multimedia performance. It evokes memories lost in time and space. It is about a place where past and present meet and re-meet, creating spatial wrinkles, and temporal reminiscences. Past collides and harmonizes with present in movements, creating free associations and new meanings. This dynamic process is to reveal and suture one's psyche in discontinuity, which is out of reach on the other side of oneself.
