Ben Vereen to be Presented with All Stars Bridge Building Award, 4/7

The All Stars Project will hold its national gala benefit entitled, "Give Back, Get Back", on Thursday April 7, at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, Broadway at 63rd Street; cocktails at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m.
Ben Vereen, the legendary entertainer, will be presented with the 4th Annual All Stars Bridge Building Award for Leadership in Community Relations for his efforts to breakdown barriers and bring people together. The All Stars Project initiated the Bridge Building Award in 2008 to recognize leaders and organizations that are building important bridges between young people and adults, people from different communities and religions, and people in need and those committed to giving back.Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the All Stars Project will raise $2.5 million and will pay tribute to a cross section of employees from its national corporate sponsors, D&B, Ernst and Young, Latham and Watkins, MetLife and Tiffany and Co., who have volunteered their time and given their talent to support the growth and development of inner-city youth. Special guest speakers include Sara Mathews, Chairman and CEO, D&B and James Fernandez, CFO Tiffany & Co.
WHO: 450 business leaders and youth will perform and host the festivities.
