Beijing Playhouse Hosts Spring Weekend Stage Kids Theatre Camp

Beijing Playhouse Academy of Performing Arts announces open enrollment for the following kid's weekend stage theatre camp.

PLAY/PRODUCTION: Participants, age 6-14, will perform Dr Doolittle with acting, song, and dance. Aspiring actors, singers, dancers, and musicians are all welcome. Parents will be invited to participate in some of the classes which are specially designed for them. English proficiency is required.

THEATRE/SCHOOL: Beijing Playhouse Academy of Performing Arts has been offering theatre camps to kids for the past four years.

DATES: Your child can have fun doing a play during the Spring semester. Modeled after Beijing Playhouse's popular theatre camps, Weekend Stage runs on Saturdays from March 17 to June 9. A total of 11 Saturdays, 9 am-4 pm, ending with a free performance for families and friends.

AUDITION/ENROLLMENT DATE: Everyone will be cast. Student registration and open auditions are Saturday, February 18 at 2 pm. These auditions are fun and done in a group so the director may know the campers better. Students are encouraged to pre-enroll prior to this date to guarantee placement.

LOCATION: British School of Beijing, Shunyi campus (across from the International School of Beijing).

ROLE(S): All roles open. Boys and girls, age 6-14. (Theatre internships are also available for older students.)

TUITION: 6,500 RMB
