All For One Theater Festival (AFO) and Michael Wolk, Executive Director, are hosting a gArden Party on Monday, July 22, 2013 at The Courtyard at the Hartley House (413 West 46th Street). The event starts with a wine tasting at 6:30 p.m. sponsored by a cellar full of noise followed by a performance and award presentation at 7:30 p.m. The event will include appearances by Mike Daisey, Colman Domingo and BD Wong, and special guests including Tom Hewitt and Nilaja Sun. The Pioneer Award, recognizing individuals and companies who have forged the way for solo theatre will be presented to producer Eva Price by award-winning solo performer Ben Rimalower.

"Our mission is to present transformational solo theater that changes the way you think and feel about the things that matter," says Wolk, "I'm thrilled to be recognizing Eva Price, an outstanding producer who brought Carrie Fisher's one-woman show Wishful Drinking to the Broadway stage and continues to showcase and support solo artists and their transformational work, such as, Margo Gomez and her production of Los Big Names."

Sponsors of the event include food by Grey Dog, soda by GuS (Grown Up Soda), and dessert by Blue Marble Ice Cream.

The All For One Theater Festival presents extraordinary solo shows together with workshops and panels to spark the creation and appreciation of transformational solo performance. The festival is a curated gateway to a community of performing and teaching opportunities that AFO has begun, and will continue, to build.

The Third Annual All For One Theater Festival takes place off-Broadway in New York City in the Fall of 2013, and is dedicated to transformational solo performance that changes minds and hearts. AFO is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that programs year around, offering Workshops, Salons, and Open Mic to nurture emerging solo artists; it regionally books AFO artists to create sustainable opportunities for solo artists and teachers.
