Dozens of NYC kids will perform at this special Symphony Space 'Just Kidding' concert on Saturday, April 20, 11 am, featuring Aaron Nigel Smith and the One World Chorus. Ticket prices range from $13 to $20. Member and group discounts available. For more information, call (212) 864-5400.

This nationally touring performer from the PBS KIDS Emmy Award-winning show Between the Lions infuses a fresh sound into children's music with high-energy shows that get kids to jump, play, sing, and dance through a collection of hip, exuberant songs with roots in reggae, world music and rock and roll.

Aaron and NYC members of his One World Chorus will also sing new songs from the acclaimed CD Welcome to the Village!, a globe-shrinking collection of songs featuring the voices of hundreds of children from New York, Los Angeles, Portland and a school near Nairobi, Kenya. With the One World Chorus project, he hopes to make the world a little smaller.

"When kids sing together, I hope that they enjoy sharing the gift of music and learning a valuable discipline that can be used to promote positive change in the world," he explains.

Expanding the One World Chorus, Aaron recently returned from a trip to Jamaica, where he recorded songs with children at schools and an orphanage. For this rare NYC show, Aaron will feature at least 50 young One World Chorus singers from the Achievement First school in East New York.
