ARTEK - Sacred Music in Honor of Holy Week will be presented by Gotham Early Music Scene (GEMS) on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 1:15pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 122 East 88th Street (at Lexington Avenue), New York, NY. Midtown Concerts relocates to Immanuel Lutheran Church for this one week only.

ARTEK will perform a program of sacred music in honor of Holy Week. Guest soloist, countertenor Eric Brenner, and string ensemble will perform two baroque masterpieces: Vivaldi's Stabat Mater and Handel's Salve Regina.

Midtown Concerts offers workers in midtown as well as the general public the opportunity to enjoy high-quality performances of music of the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods in a convenient, comfortable, acoustically superb venue. Tickets are not necessary; seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Free-will donations are gratefully accepted at the door.
