The Most Awarded Magician Has Landed At The Adelaide Fringe

Last year's Adelaide Fringe most awarded magician Paul Dabek returns to Adelaide with another fast-paced jaw-dropping adults magic and comedy show "Encore!" at the Speakeasy, Gluttony for a limited two week run.

Dabek was 2017's overall fringe winner for "Best Magic Show" and "Best Children's Show" and returns to Adelaide for an 'Encore' performance of some of his favourite magic and comedy as well as lifting the lid on some of his brand new creations.

2017 was a busy and successful year for Paul, which saw him perform across the world including the Shanghai Xintiandi Festival, Cape Town Funny Fest, Edinburgh and Melbourne Fringes.

In the lead up to Christmas Paul hosted The Unbelievables, a USA production which smashed box office records, produced by Works Entertainment, from the acclaimed Illusionists.

Directly following the Adelaide Fringe Paul will fly to the Middle East where he will MC and perform as part of The Illusionists Direct from Broadway

Simon Painter, Creative Producer from the Works said, "I am thrilled Paul is joining the Middle East production of Illusionists Direct From Broadway. The Illusionists is the world's most famous magic show having played The West End, Broadway, Sydney Opera House and every city in between. It's only fitting that someone as talented and entertaining as Paul Dabek finally joins the show. The Middle East won't know what has hit them!"

In the meantime, Paul Dabek can't wait to come back for his fifth Adelaide Fringe, "I'm really excited to bring my show to new audiences in a welcome return to Gluttony, whilst marvelling at the support of fans that have been returning to my shows year after year!"

Paul will also be performing his internationally acclaimed, award winning children's show, "The I Hate Children, Children's Show: Rock and Roll Spectacular" at Gluttony every weekend of the fringe.
